Biography

Sean Wilson spent years working road construction in Salt Lake City, Utah, running crews, hauling asphalt, and plowing snow through brutal winters. Somewhere between the long shifts and the unpredictable turns life took, he began writing a story that would stay with him for more than twenty years.

That story became The Echo Thief.

Life gave Sean plenty of reasons to understand grief. Losing people he loved, including his brother Billy, changed the way he looked at memory, family, and the conversations we wish we could have one more time.

Those experiences found their way into his fiction.

Sean writes stories filled with flawed people, dark humor, dangerous choices, and the complicated ways we love one another. His background in martial arts brings realism to his action scenes, while his own experiences give his characters something far more personal to fight for.

The Echo Thief is his debut novel and the first installment of the Anchor City Trilogy, a science-fiction noir series exploring memory, identity, loyalty, and what it means to hold on to someone after they're gone.

Sean spent twenty years getting this story onto the page. If it makes you laugh, keeps you up reading, or reminds you of someone you wish you could talk to again, then those twenty years meant something.
